Little Oak Entertainment Group is based in East Sussex and provides a broad range of music services. We are committed to bringing music to life and helping individuals explore their musical talents. With a team of highly skilled professionals, a large range of equipment and a passion for music, we offer unique music lessons, equipment hire, entertainment services and live performances.

Background

I have inherited a love for music with my 'musical gene' coming from my very musical Irish family on my mother's side. I have enjoyed playing music from a young ages, starting in the early 80s when I first picked up a violin and continued playing for the next 11 years.  

I have always loved music, especially singing. Both with singing and playing the violin, I found myself almost always near a piano which encouraged me to play a little, try a little bit more and ultimately teach myself how to play in a unique and enjoyable way.  I spent my younger years benefiting from musicianship classes, learning and playing the violin and singing and picking up any instrument I could lay my hands on. 

My dad also helped develop this passion - he would take me to the Coventry Youth Orchestra rehearsals every Tuesday and to performances, grades and music events. I don't think I appreciated back then the logistics involved in moving me around along with my sports commitments and two brothers who also had their interests - something I really do understand now having a young family myself! 

I have always had a passion for singing and watching singers perform always makes me want to be on stage even more. Seeing others have the same fun and enjoyment as they learn and develop new musical skills with me is hugely rewarding and reinforces why I love what I do.
